We are thrilled to announce that Crossville has officially been designated a Tennessee Main Street Community by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development!

Crossville is now the 48th Tennessee Main Street community, joining a statewide network dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and revitalizing historic downtowns across Tennessee.

So what does this mean for Crossville?

The Tennessee Main Street Program, modeled after the National Main Street Center, helps communities strengthen the heart of their town through the Four-Point Approach®:

Design – Enhancing downtown’s appearance and historic character

Economic Vitality – Growing and supporting local businesses

Promotion – Showcasing downtown as the vibrant hub of our community

Organization – Building partnerships and local leadership

As Crossville’s Main Street Advisory Board, Downtown Crossville Inc. (DCI) is a proud partner in this initiative—led by the Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Crossville – City Government, local leaders, and passionate community members.

This designation opens the door to new resources, training, and funding opportunities that will help us continue to make Downtown Crossville a thriving destination for business, culture, and community connection.
